Ingredients
1 cup butter (softened)
¾ cup light brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
Instructions
Heat oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
Beat butter until it’s creamy, and then add the sugars and continue mixing until fluffy – then add the eggs and vanilla and mix them to form a uniform mixture.
Now, add the flour, salt and baking soda and mix until the dough is well combined.
Scoop the dough into small balls and place them 2 inches apart on your baking sheets.
Bake at 350°F for 12 minutes, making sure to rotate the pan halfway through. The cookies are ready when the tops turn golden brown.
Allow the cookies to cool for 30 minutes before serving.
Elsa’s Note
Customize them by adding your favorite mix-ins, like chocolate chips, nuts, or dried fruit.
